Estes park has always been a beautiful part of the state of Colorado. Though, we have yet to see it in person.
This Saturday, tomorrow May 3rd, we will be traveling across the state to Estes Park to partake in the Annual Great Estes Park Duck Race!
From what we have seen, 12,000 ducks will be racing tomorrow and will be released by Actor Patrick Warburton! There will be a Duck Waddle, games, vendors, music, lots of activities, and lots of great causes to support!
We will be there to watch all the ducks drop and race to the finish line, hoping of course that our ducks will win! We will also be releasing and rehoming many of our Wellness Flock to many of the Duck lovers and enthusiasts while we are there!
We have purchased 5 racing ducks for this year’s race, each one benefiting a different cause; Pet Association of Estes Park, Caring Canines, Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Estes Park Special Olympics, and Rocky Mountain Conservancy! (You can click each one to visit their support page)
Though there were MANY causes to choose from, we have chosen these causes because each one means something special to us.
